This is a story about a girl that doubts who she is and who she has been for the past 14 years. A story where she tries to find the answer to her questions. In this story she writes in her diary about the events that have taken place in her life and how they've effected her.

I thought I could cure my severe depression and anxiety on my own, during my senior year of high school. ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ contradict♡ry... explores the daily lives and struggles of teens balancing high school, their home lives, and social relationships in this fictional world, specifically, following the two mains with their contrasting upbringings; the perspective of Sage (mostly) or Aspen. Though it does go into romantic territory, which will be recurring throughout, it delves deeper into the respective lives of the main characters and how they are both affected by the home they grew up in despite having vastly different arrangements. Extending to how they both respond, have clashing personalities, relationships with addiction and their peers, and constant conflicts with themselves or others, there's rarely downtime reading through Sage or Aspen. With that, this focus includes all the other characters, who deal with their own struggles and individual personalities, but, at the end of the day, lands on them being teens.
