Two kids meet under the same rain and feel the same pain but they couldn’t be more different and their lives could not be more difficult. Sailene Day never had friends. She just couldn’t fit in, quite literally, it wasn’t easy for such a big sized 10 year old to fit in a vicious elite school. Lucas Winters lost both his parents at the age of 16, he was popular but was too depressed to make any friends. She offers him a red umbrella, but more importantly she gave him a friend. A tale on two childhood friends who meet after 5 years, a hell lot of change on their part and terrible luck. And it started with on a rainy day. *This is my first time writing so it might be rather painful to read with the lack of description and stuff like bad grammar or spelling, but please bare with me. Thanks*

Samantha and Kei were neighbors and classmates for years. She has being in love with him for a while. So when his parents decided to move to Japan, Samantha was left with a broken heart. She worked so hard to get a scholarship to spend her last trimester of high school in Tokyo. But when she succeeded, she was surprised by a different Kei, cold and cruel. She didn't recognize her childhood friend anymore. Has she lost her first love forever? *************************** Our lips were locked for a while before I pulled away. When I did, the smirk on Kei's face had disappeared alright. My lips curled upward, happy with the reaction I got. But a few seconds later, Kei's smile almost split his face in two. The only thought I could hear in my head was 'What have I done?' "Well this only proves my theory of you being a pervert." The heat on my face was getting unbearable. "You know, this still doesn't answer my question, how much do you like me?"
