Two kids meet under the same rain and feel the same pain but they couldn’t be more different and their lives could not be more difficult. Sailene Day never had friends. She just couldn’t fit in, quite literally, it wasn’t easy for such a big sized 10 year old to fit in a vicious elite school. Lucas Winters lost both his parents at the age of 16, he was popular but was too depressed to make any friends. She offers him a red umbrella, but more importantly she gave him a friend.
A tale on two childhood friends who meet after 5 years, a hell lot of change on their part and terrible luck. And it started with on a rainy day.

Slice of Life story about a college girl who has had it rough growing up. With the loss of her best friend when she was at a young age, she found it extremely hard to make any new friends. She's forced herself into a quiet state, avoiding anyone else by any means necessary. But over time (where the story begins), she is approached by some new people who wish to be her friend. And Mia slowly comes out of her shell the longer she's with them, which leads her to find more friends and even a romantic interest. 11 chapters total, if anyone is reading this update here I'm sorry for the delay, I normally post all chapters at once but forgot this time.
