Lin is the workaholic we all know her to be but will that all change because of a familiar face showing up in Republic City?
This is set before Book 1 and I could so imagine this happening. Lin has recently been promoted to Police Captain after Toph's sudden retirement. Kya has been busy comforting and caring for Katara after Aang's death 2 years ago.
Though Kya and Lin haven't seen eachother since Aang's funeral, they are still close as they grew up together. However, since Kya had been traveling around the world, they haven't kept in contact. As soon as Lin recieved a letter from Kya explaining how much her father's passing had affected Katara, she knew she had to giver her time.
Kya is 35 and Lin is 33.
