Leo and Lainey; very much the same, but very different in how they deal with their childhood dreams, demons and on-going battles - all of which has a huge effect on their lives and mental health. We go on the journey with them, spanning over 10 years, from children to adults, as they form a bond like no other; both only feeling alive and free when being creative - and when together. Leo starts to bring Lainey out of her dark, broken shell; she turns his chaos into calmness, teaching him how to care for someone other than himself. They become each other's healing - although this story is no fairy-tale, as fate keeps getting in the way of them becoming who they are supposed to be. They unintentionally pull each other into their dramas and their pasts - more so Leo...
And Karma will catch up with you as soon as you care about something or someone ...That someone for Leo is Lainey.

The older, charming, narcissistic Luke uses Leo past as his advantage when he decides he wants Lainey for himself, he sets out to turn her against Leo. They can't fall away from their past- sadly, the apple doesn't always fall too far from the tree.

Sometimes it only takes one person to change your life; to make a difference in Your indifferent world. But will the darkness keep them apart and in the cycle of what they know, or can they finally get back to being each other's light and become who they choose to be?
