Fireborne: Tanjiro Kamado x reader

What makes a monster? Is it the fangs? Is it its hunger for flesh and blood? Perhaps it is the savage looks or the parents it was birthed by.

This question sits at the center of (Y/N)'s existence since she was born. She must learn to live in a world that does not understand nor want something like her. Neither a human nor a demon. What can she do but adapt and fight when everything is taken from her on a summer's day?

She will burn everything to the ground, for the sake of revenge.

(A/N): 'Splinter' chapters are childhood flashbacks in chronological order. I do not own Kimetsu no Yaiba/Demon Slayer, it belongs to the wonderful Koyoharu Gotoge. I only own the additional characters, concepts and clans that may appear that are not from the original story, their stories and backgrounds. This pairs ONLY Kamado Tanjiro x reader. The cover drawing isn't mine, any other pictures that appear in the story aren't mine unless I say so. So, if ya use MY pics and/or ideas, I'll kill you!
