This is a summary of how I was diagnosed with RA in 1979 in South Africa and it also contains lot of explanations on what the disease is. What they used to treat me for it and what is happening today with RA. It describes the processes and pains you have to go through and my particular journey this year where I had 5 knee operations to finally get a second replacement on my left knee. This is written more with a medical term tone and I hope to help sufferers of Rheumatoid Arthritis to know that we are a community that knows exactly what a difficult life it is to live with this debilitating disease. If you enjoy this, feel free to my book I am writing about my life and journey with RA called "The road to a little piece of heaven."
