There are many instances across various works of fiction, however it was never on such a large scale.
This time, for the developing fantasy world of Elvatry, there is no turning back, no erasing the chaos caused by the destruction of the Fourth Wall.
But is it possible to restore peace after the world's foundations have been uprooted?

Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. For humans, mermaids are bad luck so she knows that they won't attempt to harm her. The first time Prince Philip steps foot on a fishing boat he witnesses the crew catch a mermaid. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen.
