Esme Davis's fast life has become stagnant, or so she thinks. Until one fateful night she bumps into him. Deciding it's time for him to settle down, Silas decides Esme is the perfect woman for the role, but little does he know how serious she is in her dislike of him. Once Esme lets Silas through her thick exterior she created to keep everyone out, he finds a bright and pure light underneath. Silas wants nothing more than to protect Esme from the danger of his world, but he can't bring himself to let her go.
