Speed Bumps

I once saw a writing prompt asking me to write about a hit and run, and this is what came out of it. It's dark and perhaps a little sinister, but I'm fond of it. It feels gritty and distant to me, almost like a film noir. I appreciate any reads the story gets. Thank you!
