On paper, Maelys is a simple, ordinary young woman : a family, friends, a boyfriend, and a diligent student life. Until one day, tragedy strikes and swoops her into a whole new world. A world she knew about but was always forbidden access to, by her mother. Because the legendary creatures living hidden amongst the humans are dangerous, and hell bent on keeping their secrets, at all cost. Maelys's life gets turned upside down when she gets caught in various situations, on which she has no control. But in her quest of justice and discoveries, will she discover herself, and learn what destiny has planned for her? Note : This is my personal translation of the book I wrote in French.
