*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*  The shrill ring of the phone echoed in the bathroom. I searched aimlessly for a towel to dry off my hand accepting the call. 

"Hello?" I called out shutting the water off. 

"Eloise! Oh my goodness I am so glad you picked up," the happy caller cheered.

The voice sounded familiar but I couldn't quite place it as I dried off, "I'm sorry who is this?"

"Marinette! Marinette Dupain-Cheng."

It suddenly clicked placing the voice to a name. Marinette and I had been really close when she came to New-York for fashion week last year. But she had to return to Paris to help with her family bakery. We had drifted apart as I finished my art degree the past month.

"It's so good to hear from you! It's been ages," I chuckled as I walked into my bedroom searching aimlessly for clothes.

"Would you want to come to Paris for a few weeks?"

"What?"

"Come to Paris! I am having a birthday party for my 20th. I feel it'd be amazing to catch up with you."

As the call ended I threw my phone on the bed groaning. What do I do? It would be an absolute dream to go to Paris. I couldn't count the amount of assignments I had done looking at pictures of France for reference. The lavish vineyards, the winding country hill sides to the bustle of the city life. At the same time, there wasn't much keeping me in New-York... not any more at least.

Eloise King, a 20-year-old art major is given a chance to go to Paris to meet up with her old friend Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
