A high school overrun by the most popular and maybe even the most hated students. You could be one of those 'rulers' if you hooked up with the popular boys.

Yeah, ruling the whole school, what an awesome idea. Getting in the fights, separating fights, getting some punches, being punched etc, etc.

Who wouldn't like that?

At least there are two of us that avoid popular people like they would have some kind of contagious disease. Or... One should I say. Sorry Jackson, but HE definitely was enough hot to get this nerd girl on fire. After I saw HIM, I tried my everything to be enough popular to be spotted. Well, my attempts failed miserably as you might have guessed already.

I had one last hope, the summer camp.

What happened wasn't really in my calculations, but it could be explained by the fact that I was bad only in math.

Even my scientific head couldn't think about the possibility of carrying a child.

Yeah, things got a bit out of control.

Reese Price moves to a different continent, not by choice, of course. An orphan and the youngest of five brothers, moving was the last thing she wanted to do and going to a new school was even higher on her not-wanting to-do list. She wanted to be invisible for the last two years of high school. She wanted to keep her head low and let her twin brother steal the new kid spotlight. Keyword: wanted. I mean, who wouldn't notice the British girl that comes from one of the richest families in the world. With a laugh that echoes wherever she goes like a blazing wildfire, it's hard not to just get lost in her. And just like when a wildfire hits, no one is safe. In her laugh, there is everything he needs. But, what is everything? Laughter usually hides more than it reveals. As certain secrets find their way out and circumstances arise, will Reese's laughter remain intact or will life finally take the best of her? "A laugh a day keeps the fat away." -Reese Price ----- Excerpt: "'You want me to meet your friends, right?" I walk up to him and his friend. "I'm Reese and that is my twin brother Roman. He's older than me by ten minutes and loves to make my life miserable. I love long walks on the beach, oh and falling for my brother's best friends is kind of my thing." Then I add, "I'm usually on the fuck and chuck basis with them, so you won't have to worry about me being some sort of psycho-stalker chick.' Roman's face pales. And that ladies and gentlemen, is how you get payback."' © 2019 AmoraNext All Rights Reserved

Bury the Evidence

We didn't plan it. None of the fights, the girls, or the dumb decisions. But once summer hit, everything spiraled. I was out late, running wild with Kyle and them. We were deep in it-bad habits, backseat drama, and way too many secrets to keep straight. Some stuff we did? You don't come back from that. Cara liked attention. Paris played games. Cara was the one I should've left alone, but I never do what I should. The crew? We used to be tight. But jealousy's loud. Loyalty's quiet. And nobody really tells the truth until it's too late. We tried to act normal. Go to school. Link up. Laugh like nothing happened. But it all stuck. And yeah, we tried to act normal. Go to school, link up, laugh like nothing happened. But it all stuck. Now it's showing up in the worst ways. In texts we shouldn't be getting. In people we shouldn't still care about. If you think this is just another high school story, it's not. It's what happens when you live fast, lie harder... and think nobody's watching This ain't a love story. It's what happens when you don't think twice-and still end up wishing you did.
