Stumbling upon The Golden Guard hadn't exactly been on Edric's list of top ten things likely to happen while taking a walk in the woods.

It certainly wasn't a bad thing though. After getting stood up, Edric was at an all time low with his romantic endeavors.

Maybe, if he played his cards right, he could manage to score the night he'd hoped for with the emperor's right hand man himself?
