Emilie is an ordinary woman in her thirties living in Montreal with her 3 year old son Kyle. She just got divorced and trying to juggle between providing for her son and her social life, she is a bit of a nerd but not the fangirl type as she understands that fictional characters and the actors who play them are different people.

With that in mind, during her lunch break she finds a phone on the street and decided to pick it up to try to find the owner on the phone but it locked. She is just waiting for someone to contact the phone so she could return it to its owner but little did she know who the owner is...

While she finally meets the owner of the phone, she is startruck by him and they both loose all control of themselves... Emilie never had luck in her love life and even though she wants to believe in this peculiar story, she quickly finds out the truth about this man.
