Insomnia (Excerpt)
With a sigh, Dusk reached a hand up and rubbed her eyes. As she lowered it, she noticed, for the first time, someone else as crazy as her: a man crossing the street, having exited the building next to hers. He was faced away from Dusk as he approached the building straight across. The street lamps illuminated him for a moment before he walked farther away.
A car drove slowly down the street from Dusk's left.
She kept a careful eye on the man but didn't bother moving.
Years later, Dusk wouldn't be able to explain exactly what happened next."

She ends the escape at Courtney's house, a local teen, who was drunk with her best friends. Unfortunately, the Ouija board "joke" turned into a true spell that slowly caused the human race to disintegrate and the rise of supernatural beings to become a reality. Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem.
