For three years Biologist Alex Blake has been isolated and alone on the ship Oracle headed for the planet Lazarus, a last ditch attempt by Earth scientists to colonize a new world, but on the anniversary of the accident that killed her crew Blake is compelled to veer the ship off course into what seems to be a red dwarf star.
