When the world is in desperate need of heroes, there are no heroes to save it. Ryder's pups have gone mysteriously missing and now Ryder is breaking down as so many negative thoughts are spinning in his head. The situation only gets worse when strange things start occurring in Adventure Bay. 

It soon becomes clear that aliens somehow got to planet earth. But who sent them to earth? And for what reason are they here? 
In the blink of an eye, aliens conquer the entire world. 

The aliens start attacking and killing off the people. Planet earth soon becomes planet chaos. The world is now calling for the PAW Patrol. But the PAW Patrol isn't the PAW Patrol anymore. 

What will happen to the earth? Will all of the people be wiped out by aliens? Why are aliens even on planet earth? And why are they killing off the people? Who is behind all this chaos? 

Will Ryder be able to save the world without his pups, all on his own? Will he ever be reunited with them again? 
What is the fate for the once heroic PAW Patrol? And what is the fate for planet earth? 

Earth and space, both in a collision, both in a mighty war. 

Two universes.

Side notes: This story will contain gay topics and tension. As well as some harsher, more mature topics such as some life threatening problems. Ex. Suicide, Murder, Homicide.. etc. There will be some decent gore in the works of this story, but they will be warned at the beginning of a chapter and before the paragraph so dw if you get triggered by it you can skip it with no repercussions. Book Two of the "Long and Hopeful Journey" Series. If you haven't read the first story in the series, Race Against Time, I suggest reading it before you read this story. "Race Against Time" was focused on ChasexSkye and MarshallxEverest, but slightly more focused on ChasexSkye. This story, however, is going to be slightly more focused on MarshallxEverest.
