What Happens When You Keep Losing? Ash stood at the edge of defeat, staring into the abyss of his sixth consecutive Pokémon League loss. His dreams, once vivid and unstoppable, were now slipping through his fingers like sand. The once-hopeful trainer was contemplating the unthinkable-quitting. Settling down. Abandoning the very journey that had defined him. The silence of his despair was broken. "You taught me to never give up, and now look at you..." Serena's voice cut through the tension like a knife. She wasn't just his first love-she was a mirror to his former self. Her eyes searched for the Ash she once knew, the one who fought for his dreams with unyielding determination. But now? Now she saw a man defeated, ready to surrender. "Ash, winning isn't everything. Losing-it's inevitable. But what truly matters is that you never give in. You never stop fighting." Her words were harsh, filled with urgency. This wasn't just a plea-it was a warning. Then came Red. The legendary Champion of Kanto, a symbol of victory itself. But he wasn't here as a champion. He was here as Ash's brother-someone who had walked the path Ash now teetered on. Red didn't waste time on niceties. "You think this is about winning? About losing? No, Ash. This is about endurance. It's about standing up every time the world knocks you down. You don't quit. Not now. Not ever." His words struck like a hammer, each one driving home the truth that Ash was running from. This wasn't just another loss-it was a crossroad. One that would decide whether Ash would rise or fall, whether he would become the Pokémon Master he'd always dreamed of or let that dream die here, in the shadow of failure. Now, the question lingers in the air: Will Ash find the strength to continue, or will this be the final blow that breaks him? This is rated mature, however there won't be any lemons here but perhaps other some mature topics might get put in here. This will be my first ever attempt at writing so please forgive me and please leave your criticism. if this goes well I might actually write something else. For the most part this will be based off of the cannon, however this will be for the most part an original story. So please enjoy. I will no doubt lose my mind and probably start fixing all my errors as they are pointed out to me, please forgive me and be patient thank you. And like everyone says, I DO NOT OWN POKEMON.
