Dani looked at the plain yellow door distastefully, wondering once more why she let herself be dragged into this. Yet as a tiny hand squeezed her own, she remembered why she was there. For Henry. Always for Henry. Still she could try one last time before knocking on the door and sealing her own miserable fate. " Are you sure about this Henny? " She whispered under her breath, making sure not to be heard by the woman on the other side of the door. Henry rolled his brown eyes at her in exasperation before going to knock himself, talking all the while. " For the last time Dani, yes! The town needs her! " His eyes darted around the small hallway before he let out a sigh and knocked, voice barley there as he spoke once more, almost to himself. " We need her. "

She loved the water. But not just any water-the ocean. The way the waves of salt water felt when they crashed into her skin, or the way the ocean breeze tossed her long blonde hair around. All she ever wanted was to be in the water, or near it while sitting on the beach. The ocean was her happy place. While she lived a quiet life, spending her days out on the water fishing, she was concealing a secret, one that only a few people knew. When a beautiful brunette woman with the most amazing brown eyes entered her life one night, pieces of the puzzle began to surface, and more questions began to form. Could the mysterious woman she sees sitting alone at the beach at night hold the key to the mystery that is her life?
