The fallen have been reborn into the modern world. Eren Jaeger was reborn with his family. His father had left at the sight of the poor boys growing. His father had fear his son had kept the same intentions. Unbeknownst to the others reborn Eren held no similar motivations as his previous World enemy/traitor past life.
Though he did not have his father he had his loving mother. However school life was much different but not unexpected for Eren. He was severely bullied by some of those of his past life. Eren didn't blame them one bit he allowed them to do with him as they must.
If you don't like ereri don't worry there's no hard mention of it, it's more of a guardian type thing. Where Levi sees how eren is suffering and decides to watch over him kinda like fatherly love.
