When people think of gods and angels, demons and fairy tales, they don't think about whom they believe in. Who are their myths? Who do they fear is lurking in the dark? Well, let's just say that I have a clue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After waking up in Salim, Massachusetts with no memory of her life, Kitrina Blackrose had to remake her life. Along with her best feline friend, Karma, she starts a new adventure in the glorious city of San Francisco. After years of rebuilding her life in the Tear, the other side of the city, swarming with Paras and male superiority, Kitty is finally starting to move on from her missing life. But he just had to come for her. A certain dark prince seeks her as his queen and won't stop until she submits to him. Kitty constantly refuses to accept him, but when an ancient force from her past comes back, she must choose to let him in and embrace her true self or die a final death. But the one question that she keeps on asking is: Who is the Broken Promise? ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ***Currently doing a huge purge of some of my works (most are ones I have never got past the rough draft phase) and rereading this...yeah, this is not how Kane is (Rykan), so I have decided to use this as a scrap story and rewrite it with a better plot that doesn't follow the obvious troupe of "strong independent woman until big strong man appears and she's suddenly weak, but the twist is she was always strong in a princess-power transformation moment". It isn't what I had in mind for this story and now that I have grown along with my writing abilities, I want to make a story worthy of the characters that they're about. Please keep an eye out for any new books I put out, like the prequal to this story, "Promise Me, Forever" and any new entries to "Friday's Diary". Until we meet again, Friday O'Lucky

(Bfflad- Best friends for life and death) Dear Reader, Let's start at the beginning shall we? I died. Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped working, my soul began to lift away... And then I was saved by a beautiful man with a kind heart and sparkles sprinkled around his head in a golden halo. A cunning, dazzling smile etched his angled features and his hair lay perfectly on his head like...black, sinful layers of pure cynical distrusting evil. Evil that was just waiting to onset a innocent girl as myself and allow her a short amount of time of happiness, and then finish her off when she became older. I'll give you a hint. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. Hope for you. Death is close.
