I always loved that phrase -food for thought- and use it a lot, sometimes i even hashtag my posts with it. So i thought, it was very suitable and very me thing, to use it, as a title, for this book. There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. On this new planet, Socks meets some new friends, a group of humans he grows fond of. It's peaceful, and, although homesickness is present, he is at peace. But nothing lasts forever. For a little piece of home resides in the shadows. A dark one that, although Socks has never formally encountered, knows all about and had been influenced by greatly. If it weren't for him, he may not even have been on Earth. And that little piece of home...
