Lucille. The one with the pitch black big hair that fell across her frail shoulder blades. The bags under her eyes droop due to lack of sleep. Dressed in the usual hand-me downs of Nordstrom, Gucci, and Burberry...strangely. Hidden away...broken...was the girl that ran away.
She could never be understood...her side of the story would never be revealed. After what Lucille has fought for years, she survived a battle...What kept her back is what many may wonder...But one day, a savior arrives and sacrifices are made.
Rena. Tresses in the shade of a chestnut brown which cascaded down her back. Vicious eyes. Deep inside, she could shatter your tiny little heart to pieces with her rough voice and a single hit of the hand.

I felt inspired to write this story since I have heard many abuse stories. To be honest, it will be kind of sad, but luckily there may be some good parts. Also, there are more vital characters, but I wanted to add these two first to add a bit of suspense. I also hope this story won't be too cliche. Another first day
"You weren't in your room." Her voice is hoarse, low with leftover tears. "Needed a shower. Sorry, princess." I run my thumb along the back of her hand, soft, delicate under my rough skin. She sighs, her body heaving against me, the sound tired. " 'S okay. I shouldn't have come, anyways." Guilt pulls at my insides, the uncomfortable feeling making me sick to my stomach. "Always come." "You didn't" She knows. She takes on my pain without my permission, needlessly curing me of whatever negative emotion bothers me time and time again, not caring at all what it does to her. "I know." I don't have to explain it, she's thinking the exact same thing as me, she knows how I feel, how sick it makes me to let her in my head. "From now on." It's a quiet promise, I can't keep it from her now, so the best I can do is return her comfort when she needs it, help her forget everything, for a little while. "From now on." In which You and Leon are training for STRATCOM, trying your bests to not crack under the pressure, getting beat to a pulp pretty much daily, and dealing with an overly hateful Major, all while trying to navigate your own unusual relationship. Reading the first book isn't essential, the first few chapters fill you in for the most part. Enjoy!Complete

"If it means anything, she has panic attacks." Ryder explained. "Page Shepard." She told someone. "What's her name?" "Lucy." Ryder told them. Then, light people around me became blurs, than darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maybe you had some high school bullies, but I hope they weren't like Lucy Smith's bullies. Lucy Smith is entering into her first year of high school, going to school with her best friend and four out of her five older, protective brothers. Being part of the Smith family gives her some different effects on the the guys around her and some people don't take too kindly to that. She thinks she's weak, even more after being ignored and treated as crap by her Nakamas so she decides to train, until one day something happens...
