Tk and Carlos (not a couple in the beginning) had followed each other on Instagram but they never really thought much of it. They had heard stories about one another because of Owen, TK's father. Carlos didn't know much about TK besides what he posted on Instagram and what his father had told him at work. Tk on the other hand knew some things about this cop because Owen told him what had happened when he'd get home from work and how he and Carlos worked together.
- One day Owen had given his son, TK Carlos' number so that way he could text him, after showing him some pictures of Carlos, knowing damn well TK was falling in love with this cop named Carlos. Carlos didn't even know or didn't even feel like he was falling in love with this firefighter.
