The snow glistened on tall trees, and a slender figure sat amid frosted branches and hard leaves.
Her hair wavered in the cold wind as she listened to the sound of breaking branches drawing closer towards her.
Blurry figures were looking around desperately as if there was a hidden treasure or even a lost child?
She snickered as she pulled her head back mockingly.
There were just a few old cabins nearby and unfamiliar men were already roaming around aimlessly, the forest is far too big for them to search the entire area.
They were clothed similar to each other in black robes and walked unsteadily in the thick snow, some of them breathless and holding their knees as they panted.
I watched them closely, they were strangers that didn't know what they were doing, or was I mistaken?
Trees tilted their bodies in answer to the nervous wind, my body tensing as I was able to hear their shaky voices ever so slightly, they were still a little far to understand their exact words.
