In a universe where the Ultras of M78 have yet to meet humanity, Taiyo, a rookie in training chases after a Bemstar. Becoming lost in space, he meets a man during the cold war and is forced to host in a device until he can come out once more. Years later in the early 2000s, the man's grandson Brandon finds the device in the attic and through an alien attack targeting them, become ultra and host. As the alien awakens many slumbering kaiju, Taiyo and Brandon are left with the responsibility of defending Earth from kaiju, aliens, and a large conspiracy forming in the shadows.

This cycle repeated until he was freed, welcomed to a new world, a new life. A life that didn't last. A beast named Shin enveloped the Hybrid, and corrupted his mind, controlling his body. With the help of two figures playing a massive role in his new life, he would gain himself back, though, during their battle, they are sent to another world, one in which they have gained humanoid bodies, and an army of new threats. (Did this spoil a little, yes. That's what summaries are for! I wanted to rewrite the story because I missed out on a lot of things I wanted to explain better, not have as many plot holes, and make it to where Neo used his Muto powers more. A complete rewrite of the original book "The Evolved Muto". A new plot, different, though probably not better, pacing, and hopefully longer.
