Sunny x Basil Fanfiction, switches character POV.

As the dawn breaks, a new beginning sets in for Sunny and Basil. Sunny stays in Faraway Town, challenged with integrating back into society and facing his mental health. Basil is determined to help Sunny, but often finds himself in need of help as well, to deal with loneliness, anxiety, and trauma. Basil tries his best to keep a brave face, although he is struggling. Sunny always recognizes Basil's struggles first, and lends an ear. The two of them lift each other through their shared trauma. Sunny discovers that his crush on his friend Aubrey was actually a mask for his romantic feelings for Basil. Basil has had romantic feelings towards Sunny for a couple years, and has been in denial about it. Until now.
