Every story has two perspectives, but sometimes the other one is something we don't want to know.
Before the SandWing War of Succession, a SkyWing named Kite discovers her brother Treeline is sick. Nobody knows what he's sick with, and nothing seems to help. Kite gets an idea, but it's a risky one. It involves trusting dragons that maybe shouldn't be trusted and making choices that might haunt Kite for the rest of her life. It also makes Kite wonder what lengths she'll go to to save her brother.
The dragon on the cover is Kite.
This book is a fanfiction of Tui T. Sutherland's series "Wings of Fire."

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and most of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though there will be several canon characters making appearances throughout the story. You've heard the story about how the NightWings manipulated the War of SandWing Succession, sending assassins and spies to watch over and control the situation for their own benefit. This is the story of one such spy, who was posted in the Kingdom of the Sea to observe the SeaWing army and Blister's forces as they sought victory in the world war. Silverstripe was raised by the Talons of Peace with one purpose in mind: to spy for the Talons in the War of SandWing Succession. Now that she's finally ready to begin her career, she's finding that spying on the SeaWings is even smoother than she anticipated. However, there are also complications that she'd never thought of... complications that could jeopardize her mission and even cost her her life. Will Silverstripe be able to observe the SeaWings from right under their snouts, or will her identity be revealed and her first mission cost her her life? Cover: photographed and designed by me. PS, for the artists out there: if you'd like to create fanart of Silverstripe's story and feel comfortable sharing your artwork, feel free to send it to me, and if you like I'll put it in the Fanart section of "The Secret of Silverstripe" Finally: Don't hesitate to leave any questions/comments/concerns. I'd love some input on my writing, and if you happen to spot some typos or grammer issues in there, please let me know so I can fix it. Happy reading! :)
