A long time ago when the cold blooded King and the shape shifter King had made peace with each other having hunters as the common enemy. Shane, Lydia, Holden and Christopher were inseparable friends.

One day the vampire King betrayed the truce causing rampage between the two species. The vampires having hunters on their side killed most wolves causing the wolf King to intervene himself, after protecting and saving the wolves the Alpha King offers his death by the vampires in return to end the war.

The vampire King kept his word. The Alpha King leaves his two sons and his wife to care for the Kingdom. Shane as the next heir for the Alpha King despised the Vampires from that day on.

Holden as the vampire prince took over his father's empire and leaving his friends behind.

His hatred for other species drives his over protection for his wolves, all who hurt his kind are punishable by death. What will he do when he finds out his mate is one of his enemies? What will happen when he finds out there is more to his mate than meets the eye?
