The bell above the bookstore door chimed softly as Amelia stepped inside, shaking the drizzle from her umbrella. Outside, the late autumn afternoon was gray and uninviting, but here, in this quiet sanctuary, the world softened. The faint scent of aged paper mingled with the warmth of yellowed light. It was the kind of place that made you feel like time could stop, and maybe, just for a moment, it did....

"Of course I know. I know almost everything about you." He said the last words in a whisper while tucking a strand of her hair. Her heart beat raced, cheeks became hot and tips of her ear full red. She didn't dare to look at him. He cupped her chin and pulled her face towards him softly, making her look at him. "You have no idea how beautiful you are, in and out." He whispered looking in her eyes intently, with so much love for her. She was panting slightly by now. He cupped her right cheek, brushing it with his thumb slowly, feeling the softness of her skin. She leaned her face towards to his palm, loving the touch and the warmth it was giving. The feeling was new to her. The touch was new to her. ************
