The day I witnessed state sponsored murder

You open on a lonely recently widowed woman who has a puppy dog which she believes to be a staffy. In the middle of the night numerous SDU police officers knock loudly on the door. Because it is the police she goes to answer the door without getting her glasses. The police enter and some scary looking officers say that she has an illegal breed and say they are taking the dog. The woman tries to correct them but the police do not want to hear it Then a friendly police woman calms down the situation and says that if it turns out to be a legal breed then the dog will be returned soon. she persuades the woman to sign something which she cannot read because she does not have her glasses and she assures her they will just have the dog overnight and its all normal stuff. the police then roughly take the dog and push it into the back of a van. The dog is visible scared.

maybe have a background where her dead husband gives her the dog or her children because she s lonely. - maybe have a view from the police woman's view and show her in the car and witnessing the murder and feeling regret (she is the one who witnessed the murder.)

An hour later she receives a call telling her that her dog has been put down. she stares into the distance.
