Briarpaw is a thunderclan apprentice, in the battle for the forest with Bloodclan, she saves Scourge. Firestar slashes her across the throaght and she blacks out. When she awakens, she is in a new territory. She finds out that this is Bloodclan. Scourge makes her a warrior, Briarrose. But she still has no idea who saved her from the battlefield. She then uncovers Scourges real past. It scares her. But she is scared more still once she finds herself wrapped up in an emotion she can't control, one she was told not to feel. The story of a great cat is about to be revealed. This cat had the same beginning as Scourge, tortured by her brother and sister, regarded as weak because of her size, and attacked by Clan cats because she was trespassing unknowingly. Well, this cat also has a similar fate as Scourge, she will seek revenge just as he did, she will kill cats just like him, and she will lead just like Scourge. Every cat has a choice to follow two paths, a path with glory, light, and loyalty or a path of bloodshed, darkness, and evil. Although, she will become successful in where Scourge failed. Her claws are sharper, her heart is colder and her mind is darker than Scourge could ever imagine. So will she succeed in where the former BloodClan leader failed? When Ashstar, LightClan's leader receives a prophecy speaking of a cat who will have the power to talk to any animal, she's at a loss for words. A litter of kits is born that very night, Wolfkit and Frostkit. Ashstar realizes Wolfkit is the prophesied cat and doesn't know how to react. As Wolfkit struggles with her ability, Frostkit has trouble with OutClan, seeing she has been gifted with supreme hunting and fighting skills. Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other.
