Coby West works with for his dad Paul at the local library in Jiffyville. this isn't just some ordinary library in though that everyone has forgotten about. Instead of getting lost in books the books characters get lost in the modern world. This wonder has been kept secret from everyone to protect Coby and his dad's friends. The characters of the books who have gotten to know them from being discovered and destroyed. Hiding them has  put the library into a situation where the government is threatening to close the library. Coby and his dad must do what they can to save the library .
