I kissed the Golden boy
Jordan never noticed Juliet. Juliet had given up to get his attention. And if they end up hiding together in the same closet, he can't stop talking about himself. So how to shut him up? Kissing him... *** Jordan Decker is an arrogant senior in King Valley, a footballer and an A-grade student. All teachers liked him, girls adored him and guys wanted to be friends with. A total cliche. And like always, in every girly romantic book, he has the gorgeous girlfriend, luxury car and EGO as big as New York City. Juliet Maine has a lot on her plate, working as a waitress in Lory's Diner she is asked to open a new business in her hometown. After graduation she will fly to New York to study law at NYU, leaving her family behind and start her independent life. When she is pulled into her highschool's crush's love-life problems, she finally understands why falling in love with him was a bad idea. But she doesn't know that Jordan had noticed her from day one. *** PREVIEW into chapter 8 I climb up the stairs and find myself in a long corridor what spread to two directions. Matt's bedroom was on the east wing so I turn to my left and walk toward the last door in the end. But before I can reach half way, a door on my right opens and out runs Jordan. We bump into each other. "What the..???" I steady myself, grabbing his jacket and prevent myself from falling backward. "Run!" He says. "What?" I release him. "Run," he grabs my hand and starts pulling me with him. "Why would I...?" I turn around while I'm dragged toward the stairs and see Tiffany, all angry and face cherry red come throw the door Jordan had exited a minute ago. "You dirty bitch!" She yells at the top of her lungs as she sees me, Jordan's hand still gripes me. Amazing cover by @uniqueread.Concluida

RIGHT BESIDE YOU (Book 1) || HaruMaki
THREE THOUSAND KILOMETERS FROM HOME. "Those uncertain, vague expectations Became certain when I met you You taught me that I'm not alone I know, in our love It's the reason for this buzzing chest I know, in our life The magic that summer nights cast on me" Kenta Hamada never intended to fall in love-not here, not now, and especially not with someone like Jake Ignacio: loud, unfiltered, and endlessly persistent. As a transfer student from Osaka trying to stay invisible within the chaos of Manila's university life, Kenta only wanted peace, low grades, and long nights spent on video games. But fate-or bad timing-had other plans. In a whirlwind of rain-drenched confessions, lingering eye contact, secret glances, and group samgyupsal dinners, Kenta finds himself at the center of something terrifyingly real. Add to that an overprotective younger brother in Japan, emotionally complicated friendships, and conservative parents who still believe love only looks one way-and suddenly, choosing happiness becomes a rebellion. As Jake keeps showing up, and Kenta keeps trying not to care, the lines between running away and running toward begin to blur. Maybe love doesn't need to be perfect. Maybe it just needs to be honest. This is a story about the mess of growing up, the courage of choosing love, and the quiet revolution of letting yourself be seen.Concluida
