Every year, 16 year old's around the world go through a process called 'The Stoning'. This allows them to acquire power through choosing a stone that will fit into their wrist. However, this will either make or break their life and everything they have known for 16 years. 
Jaime Kim Kelly is a 16 year old boy, who despises the process but can do nothing to stop it as it has been a part of human lives for millenniums.
On the day of The Stoning, Jaime acquires the 'Vitalist' power. A power that is only available once every 50 or so years and one person to each continent.
Jaime is conflicted as to what to do with his newly found power,but much more is brewing behind the scenes of their society. 
Will Jaime be able to overcome what holds him back in order to succeed? Will his crew be able to have the last laugh in the Spirit war? Will they survive?All Rights Reserved
