The winters are bitter and cold in remote places of Bavaria, but sometimes the sweetest treasures are found laying in the snow. The Seven Julbocken were fortunate to have such luck. Schuster, the cobbler, and his youngest brother, Koch, the cook, were out gathering provisions for the upcoming Yule feast back at their cottage, which they shared with their six other brothers, when they found something sticking out of a snow drift. Upon clearing away the snow, they discover the body of an unconscious 16 year old girl with vibrant red hair. Picking her up they find that she is very thin and her clothes are very worn. They take her back to their cottage and wait for her to wake up. Will she stay when she does? Or will she leave to go back where she was trying to get to? Read to find out.
