What am I

**Warning: Story contains a bit of smut & its fair share of bad language** ˜She sat there looking at her hands, a frown tugging at her brows as she thought about what to say next. There are things in this world I wish didn't exist ¦myself included. I was just about to ask her what she meant by that when a loud crackling sounded from under her shirt. Her shoulders pulled back and rounded as if trying to break away from the rest of her body. "Harry, move back!" Her pain filled scream echoed throughout the small room. I did as I was told just in time to see her skin begin to redden and shake. I looked into her eyes...they...they were glowing. How can you tell the truth from a lie? How do you know who you can trust? What would you do to keep yourself safe? What would you give up to keep those you love safe? Safe from the creature after you but also...safe from you. ©2013 R.K.
