During his conquest of the Realm The Emperor of Outworld, Shao Kahn,  discovered he was not the only conqueror of Realms. From the Realm of Viltrum emerged, the Viltrumites were one of if not the most powerful species in all the Realms. They believed themselves superior to all races and this belief led to them subjugating other realms. When Viltrum and Outworld clashed a brutal war ensued, one that forced all other Realms and even the Elder Gods to intervene. Through a long and brutal struggle, the war ended with the Viltrumites vanquished or defecting to another side. The Death of Thragg, the Viltrumite Emporer, was the be-all end of all of this event. Little did they know that Thragg had a contingency plan, that ensured the resurrection of the Viltrumite Empire. His Half-God son (Y/n) but Thragg's plan goes arwy when Shao Kahn takes the child under his wing.
