🏳️‍🌈 AROACE REPRESENTATION 🏳️‍🌈 TRANS PROTAGONISTS Thing is i like trouble, mess, the adrenaline of hitting the legs when things go wrong (even tho I'm not a good runner). I like to make things right by the wrong and that is pretty much everything you should need to know, but sometimes i bump into real problems, real pigs, even hyper-fast hedgehogs (I'm not gonna explain) And other times i cross with all of this at once and that's the story I'm gonna tell, one of the biggest messes i got into and i could not regret it less. I do not regret getting caught doing the paste-ups, or falling from my bike because of a flying rock, or having to eat wasabi chips. I do not regret any of the vandalism, throwing punches, mocking, being rude, being bossy or being me. In fact, being me and doing shit was one of the best things I've ever did for myself, for the city and for my family. So if you are interested in what I have to say, or if you already don't like me and want to see me getting waisted a couple of times, i think this story can be for you. And hopefully can teach you a couple of things. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. One day though, they feel their tattoos start to tingle. ____________________________________ *Will they be happy with who their soulmate turns out to be? *Will they recognize each other? *Will they be happy? *Will they break apart? -Read to find out. :) ____________________________________ This book is rated mature because there is a lot of talk of depression and self harm. Alex sighed. There was no way he'd be able to walk away now. He went over and carefully rolled the figure over and was surprised to see it was a very young man. Alex couldn't see any wounds but when he searched, he found a large bruise on his side that had broken open and gotten infected. "Looks like you got the raw end of a beating. Better get you to a hospital." a hand shot out and grabbed his wrist. "NO! no hospital. just leave me alone." "No hospital huh? your wound is infected. if you leave it, it could kill you." "I'll be fine." he said then promptly passed out. Alex snorted and gathered the boy up and stood.
