❝She was a sunflower, and even though she never faced the sun, she was still beautiful.❞

When Finnegan Annson reunites with his anything-but-boring, garden-scented childhood friend Orenda May Castellano on a cold winter day, it's no secret that his uneventful life slowly alters into a marathon of new beginnings.

And so begins a story about a girl that saw the world in its utmost colours and gradients, and a boy that could not see what the world really had to offer him.

Literally.

But when Orenda flings Finn into her world of colours and hands him a paintbrush, and their footsteps turn into dapples of colour, perhaps he can see the beauty. And maybe he can see the wonders that no one else can really see at all.

After all, anybody can create a masterpiece. Even if it's just with a sucky paintbrush.

UNEDITED |Freya Livingston| has always liked being alone it's not that nobody wanted to be her friend it's more that she didn't want to be bothered. Her carefree attitude and effortless beauty has everyone wanting to be associated with the silver haired stunner. The only thing that seems to capture her undivided attention is her most beloved item, that darn sketchbook. Nobody knows what she's sketching with her delicate hands but they bet it's as beautiful as her. How will she adjust when she moves school for her senior year. [Luca Santiago] the definition of a golden boy. Being the captain of the soccer team and having top grades he's the boy your parents wishes you take home. Though being a top scoring student, he's anything but a nerd. With his seemingly perfect reputation and not to forget handsome features, he's quite the playboy. He gets everything he wants within a blink of an eye and he's everyone's idol. The only thing that prevents him from completely ruling the school is a certain leather jacket wearing, motorcycle riding guy, but he's planning on changing that soon. {Axel Andres} the certain leather jacket wearing and motorcycle riding guy. One look at him and you can tell he's up to no good, but then another look at him and you may fall in love. Which I highly suggest on not doing because he's not the commitment type. He barely even hangs out around anybody other than his own circle of friends. His cold exterior and icy glares make it hard for anyone to ever approach him and if they do then they usually end up regretting it. He's worked for everything he has which is not that much but he'll give hell to anyone who questions it. The story of a girl who wanted nothing more than to just be left alone being dragged in the very middle of rivalry she didn't ask for and she doesn't know it yet but she's the winning prize. A story about love and loss, rekindling old friendships and making new ones.

So you literally came here to just read the summary and not our story? Well I bet you did. For you to simply deal with yourself if you should go on and try reading a story of someone like me to know if you might relate with it, or proceed finding another one if not. That's something Elisha Veth Twain contradicted on. She even said that summaries are just made for some authors to play with the readers' minds, making them hope of something which, obviously, won't happen for the sake of putting up a little twist around the story line, but I have to say, that's actually a good choice. This isn't one of those lecherous love stories by the way, just a bit. This is a different one, ain't simple. I know I sound rude, but don't take it seriously, I'm just letting you feel who I was before she changed me, completely and entirely. All that I can say to you my friend, is that you will never understand something unless you'll get to the bottom of it. And by the way, she was never an ordinary person to me. - ACDS, originally written by Gestoni Cobar - Published last October 27, 2014 on Wattpad (25/40 Chapters) - COPY NOT EDITED - Strong Parental Guidance is advised - Character names aren't based to anything except for thoughts from the author's mind. - For detected mistakes, suggestions for improvement, please always feel free to visit and comment at the "Correction/Suggestions for Improvement Page" - Information about the author is at the "About The Author" page GESTONI COBAR Copyright © 2014. Featured by @Romance .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. "Why do you make these paper flowers?" He asked, looking at her through the mirror. "They don't wither like the real ones." She replied, aligning the entire bunch of paper flowers. "But they don't have the fragrance." He politely challenged her. He was a soldier. Chivalrous was his middle name. "These paper flowers, they stay with you for as long as you want. You don't really have to throw them away like people discard the real ones. They pluck them for the fragrance and colors. But once that fades, they throw it away." She said, finally looking up at him. "Not everyone!" He added almost immediately, taking one more step forward. It could be his height or his longer stride, or maybe the room was too small as it only took him two steps to reach her. "Yeah! Of course! Exceptions are there, like poets and people in love." She walked in a different direction, putting those flowers on the table. He rolled his eyes with a defeated sigh. She was a teacher. Arguing with her was as futile as making a sand castle on a seashore. "You know, gone is the era when people used to preserve the flowers of their loved ones. We don't have people like that anymore!" She said as she faced him. "We don't have that kind of love anymore." He said looking straight into her eyes. She held his gaze through the mirror for a while, trying to read through him. "I agree." Murmuring under her breath, she turned around. Taking a deep breath, watching her retreating figure, he brought out his favorite poetry book from the shelf. After he was sure she was not looking, he ruffled through the pages till he found a dried Hibiscus. The very same one which had fallen from her bag when he first saw her. With a small smile, he cautiously caressed the petals. He closed the book with a fond sigh and found her looking at him. She couldn't hold his gaze for long and looked down, crimson covering her cheeks. He shook his head with a chuckle.

"Taira. Taira, listen to me. You can't just took something that isn't yours, especially from nature. Especially not while an unknown girl is watching you." "...Why not?" "Taira, there's only one explanation for your sudden color blindness: you're cursed big time." - "Hey, you're not allowed here." A voice said. She did not reply. "Miss, this is a guy's dorm, what are you doing here," said another voice. - " He has got eyes the colour of honey. These eyes, they glare a lot. It shone a glorious brown and look like caramel coated with honey under the sun rays. When these eyes are directed at you, you just can't look away. In crowds, these eyes roll a lot. I don't think he likes crowds very much. " - " It has always been about your voice. One I cannot describe. It have just this nice undertone and slight shiver in it, that make me love hearing your voice. Over and over and over again. I will not get tired of your voice. That shiver in your voice is my symphony, calming me and claiming my attention. That voice that which churns my stomach just listening to your voice calling my name. " - "Why thank you, I can't help but notice this is some sort of compliment, albeit not nearly clear as any other compliment." She acknowledged. "Don't flatter yourself too much. That is merely a fact and a statement." He said, platonically. . . . . // A series of short stories that may or may not be associated with colours. // Unrelated short stories in every title.
