Somewhere in the lost galaxy of Earis, somewhere in the star system of Neula-V, lies the exiled world of Delirith; a planet whose inhabitants perfectly embodied the survival of the fittest, where one lives under their own definition of normality and conform.
Not astray from the trigger-happy population is our protagonists; Mako the Little Witch (who practiced no sorcery) and Fyra the One-Horned Devil (who is not a demon and in fact, 100% human), wandering children orphaned by the manic society around them (just like 90% of Delirith's population).
Follow Mako and Fyra, as they wandered the lawless world encountering psycho baddies, monstrous wildlife, and stupid conflicts doing whatever crap the plot wants them to do in this Sci-Fi slice of life of the Devil, the Witch, and the Wicked World of Delirith!

Trepidation: Act 1 (FIRST VERSION)
10,000 years in the future, humanity has long since inhabited a region of space simply known as the "Habitable Zone of the Milky Way," or simply the "Habitable Zone." Many advancements have been made, though many are irrelevant to the billions - or perhaps more - of souls scattered across space. Everything operates under the silent, vague, but present scrutiny of the gods, with thaumaturgic talents dominating many human cultures in some capacity. Churches reign over the post-Altarum territories a century after the Silence. The World, at least as far as many within the Habitable Zone are concerned, is a cold, thoughtless plane of existence. It is within a single vessel, known as the CSS Groundskeeper, do things begin to influence the "Things To Be," as labeled by followers of the pantheon. Within this ship, two individuals will face the beginning of what is to be unimaginable horrors within an unforgiving universe, both with the same goal: do not succumb to the darkness. Trepidation: Act I is the first story in what is to be a much longer novel detailing the story of two individuals in the cold universe. Act I may contain disturbing content for some readers. There are now only two places to live. Being behind the safety of the Walls, but rule bound place of Solaris, or in a dangerous land of the killing, outside of the Walls, where there were no rules, but one. Survive. That was the Wild. Zora, now known as Sin, has been living in the Wild since she was thirteen, but she wasn't alone. She lives with others who, too, were sick of all the rules of Solaris, or who were exiled. She is now twenty, and very few know what actually happened to her and what made her choose to run into the Wild at such a young age. It takes much skill to survive outside the Walls. Infected, who once were men and women, roam the land, killing every moving thing that isn't themselves. They are the people who were affected by the drugs, poisons, radiation and more from the last war that destroyed everything. Those who were affected turned into cannibalistic, killing, brainless monsters that the Survivors are always killing to stay alive. Sin is the best of the camp she calls home. No one has ever seen anyone like her. Quiet, serious, secretive, smart. She is a killing machine that can never be stopped.
