When Kim Seokjin stole a bag of money and ran away to Seoul, he thought he was giving his little brother a better life. But trouble comes knocking when his new neighbour turns out to be a gorgeous, overly curious detective! Tempting as Kim Namjoon sounds, getting involved with this homicide lieutenant next door poses a teensy problem for a boy who's on the run. But one thing is certain- Namjoon's onto him, and he wants more than just a taste from the new neighbour.

Kim Seokjin knew he wanted to be a detective the moment he found his brother bleeding to death on their kitchen floor. He swore to himself that he would find and stop his brother's killer someday, devouring mystery novels and all the books he could get his hands on until he graduated and became a detective at the local police department. Kim Namjoon, who was what the world would call a prodigy, teetered on the edge, or rather, the thin line between genius and insanity. On the outside, he was pleasant, well-spoken, and an absolute wonder to everyone he met. Inside, however, he knew he was beginning to fall apart. Music was his medium, his mind was his downfall. Or so he thought. Seokjin arrived at the Kim household one day as they dialed the police and reported their son to be missing. Namjoon loved- loves, he's still alive, remember that, Seokjin- the rain. And although Jin had never seen the boy after they were classmates in college, he knew. As the rain poured outside for the third night in a row, Jin remained restless, unable to sleep because every drop reminded him that he was still out there. Lost, and waiting to be found. Author's Note: ALRIGHT SO I'M CRYING AGAIN THANK YOU @IPURPLESMERALDO FOR THIS BREATHTAKING COVER I LITERALLY HAVE NO WORDS LEFT TO SAY I think I'll just sob like the rain
