From the dawn of time we came moving silently down through the centuries living many secrets lives no one has ever known we were among you and Esther prefers it that way.
Esther the Gladiator is a woman who has lived secretly, who destroyed her own Watcher Chronicles in a fit of rage. She is friends of sorts with Duncan Macleod, she was best friends with Darius... And as for Methos well, what they had was special until he broke her heart in the 1700's.
Esther has a mission, one no one but those she calls brothers know, a mission that involves Duncan Macleod... She knows what's coming, and she has to protect the Highlander long enough for him to take care of it... But her feelings for a certain ancient immortal resurface with a vengeance, can she protect Macleod and her love from the darkness that is coming?
