The Memories of Ivy

This is a collection of original poems I wrote myself.

Each poem will depict a memory of a person or object from my past and a reflection of how I feel about them now. I deal with love, heartbreak, obsession, death, depression, mental illness, sacrifice, survival, and so on.

This collection's purpose is to help me in digging deeper into my life from childhood onward and also into the life that I did not have very fond memories of. This will also help me in accepting the truth I've been in denial of for years and the secrets that I had locked away, out of fear of letting go.

Trigger Warning: some poems will dive deep into serious topics, such as death, abuse, mental illness, suicide ideation, homicidal ideation, and several others.
