"He smiled again. That is a fun memory. His smile quickly turned into a frown. That was only a few days before it happened. He usually tried not to think about times before it happened. The memories usually only led to the bad ones. He blinked three times, clearing his mind, before carefully sitting up. He winced as his muscles screamed out in pain. This was normal. He was used to it."

"Ren" as the humans like to call him, is a bird hybrid that was, like so many others, captured by the humans, forced to be a pet. He's been underestimated his entire life, for being short, skinny, and a hybrid. But he has a plan. A plan to change everything; to set free not just himself, but every hybrid in the world. He just needs the hybrids to believe him.
