Cousins Jake and Seth travel to the famed land of Miitopia for a nice vacation, but not all is right in the kingdom of Greenhorne. Kasey, the Dark Lord, is running amok, causing trouble and stealing innocent people's faces to give to his growing monster army! They will deepen their bond together while making new friends, forging lasting relationships while slaying the Dark Lord's monsters. Will they stop this terrible fiend, or fall victim to one of his vile minions?

There is only one Mii who can defeat this fiend: the clever, brave, and laid-back Daph-Nii, who got magical powers from a guardian spirit and made herself a thief by accident. On the way, she meets Hidea-Kii, a half-fairy warrior with a short temper, Trini-Tii, a ditzy but well-meaning cleric, and Victor, just a guy with a dress and a microphone who loves to be fabulous and scream a lot.
