The sun slowly sunk behind the rippling ocean waves, sand crunching under the weight of Frank's feet.


"You should be here." He spoke, barely above a whisper, his eyes burning and the familiar lump forming in the back of his throat. 


"Why'd you have to leave me?" 


His legs crumbled under his weight and his knees hit the sand, hot tears flowing in streams on his face.


He looked to the sky, searching for answers to his questions, "Why did you do it?!"

Frank remembers the day as if it was yesterday.


Because it was.


The day he lost Gerard.
