It's Christmas time once again. 15 year old Jessie Jaspers loved Christmas. She always did and got so excited about it and loved decorating, baking cookies, candies and more. Until last year when tragedy struck and left her living with her aunt and uncle and her cousin. She is still sad and doesn't like any of the holidays and especially Christmas. Her aunt, uncle and cousin try to cheer her up but it just isn't working. She finds a note in her room addressed to her. Inside it reads that from December 1st until Christmas Eve she will be receiving a gift ornament to help get her in the spirit. But will it work? Or will she be miserable and not celebrate and also bring her family down with her. Read to find out.

It turned a bit staring back at me with menacing yellow orbs penetrating to my soul as a silent warning that I would be next. Next in line following the demise of my very own...family. Crystal Cane, 17 year old senior in high school has had to live 12 years of her life after the incident with a new family, new home, new school and fortunately new friends.
