Imprisoned under false charges, Declan Winston is forced to watch the invasion and decimation of earth from his deep space prison cell. After the prison is attacked and destroyed by terrorists, Declan finds himself freed and on the warpath to avenge the family and friends lost in the invasion. when his ship is destroyed, he finds himself adrift in space and preparing for death. He is given a second chance when his failing life pod is rescued by a band of pirates, on the ship Icarus. Together, they will face the enemy's armadas as they search for answers.
