The silence was suffocating. No response. No movement. I forced my eyes open and scanned the room in a panic. That's when I saw it,the bloodstain seeping into the bedsheet. Memories from the night before came rushing back, hitting me like a tidal wave.
"Rudra, make me yours." Her whispered plea echoed in my mind.
"You complete me, Rooh." My own words haunted me as I clutched my head, fighting to hold on to reality. Where was she?
I spun around, my gaze falling on the dressing table mirror. A note was pinned to the glass. My hands trembled as I snatched it.
"We can't be together."

I stared blankly at the words, my mind spiraling. Why would she leave without a word?
